Description

Clima Core X is a moisture-active vapour barrier membrane, a three-layer reinforced solution with PE thermostabilised mesh and a variable Sd-value. Made of a non-woven polypropylene fabric layer, a special functional layer and PE mesh. The functional layer allows a small amount of water vapour to migrate into the attic from the inside of the building during the winter and, if necessary, from the attic to the inside during the spring months, forming the product's vapour barrier reactivity moment.

Application area

Clima Core X vapour control membrane is used in residential and industrial construction as a vapour control layer that protects the attic against excessive moisture penetration from inside the thermal insulation.
Also used in roof and wall constructions. Thanks to its active properties, the ‘foil bag’ effect, i.e. the formation of fungi and mould in the attic as a result of excessive moisture, is prevented. It also protects the timber of the structure from the risk of collapse and structural defects.
When installed, it is recommended to use DUO adhesive tapes to bond overlaps and seal joints with other structural elements of the building. Also used for the incorporation of loose thermal insulation materials.
