The insulated flexible silencer AKUDEC3 is designed for mechanical ventilation systems with recuperation - ideal for connecting the recuperator to air distribution boxes. Equipped with metal sleeves on both ends for easy installation and tight connection.
The AKUDEC3 silencer is made from a durable, semi-flexible inner canal made of multi-layer corrugated aluminum and an outer laminated flexible shell. The space between the inner and outer canals is filled with 25 mm thick sound-absorbing material.
The silencer is flexible and compressible. For the very best sound absorption, it is necessary to stretch along the entire length.
Withstands air pressure from 0 to 1000 Pa.
Max. Operating temperature + 80°C.
AKUDEC3 meets requirements for non-combustible material (Euro class A1, according to EN 13501-1).
AKUDEC3 sound reduction at fully extended, straight duct.
(Swedish test method SS-EN ISO 7235).
