iZZi SF160 – Antismog insulated filter box M5/F9 iZZi SF (up to 250 m3/h)
Anti-smog filter boxes with M5 and F9 filters, intended for recovery equipment. They are used to filter incoming fresh air from ultra-fine particles PM10, PM2.5 and PM1, which are the most dangerous for humans. They are offered in two versions - for equipment with a capacity of up to 250 m3/h and up to 550 m3/h. Intended for use in private house installations.
iZZi SF filter boxes were created for effective protection against smog.
Cassette-type filters provide two-stage filtration, including the F9 class fine filter, which guarantees up to 83% retention of the smallest smog particles PM1, i.e. whose size is less than 1 micrometer. These particles are the most dangerous for our body, because when they enter the lungs, they enter the bloodstream and spread to the internal organs. Most "anti-smog" filters on the market only protect us from larger PM10 and PM2.5 particles.
The iZZi SF 160 or 200 filter box includes one FREE set of filters: M5 (pre-filter) and F9 (anti-smog)!
Smog is polluted air formed by the mixing of smoke, fog and harmful substances in the exhaust gases of cars, industry and coal burning. Smog is a health hazard because it contains toxic substances such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide, which can cause asthma, respiratory, cardiovascular diseases. Smog is a particularly serious problem in some cities, but it can occur anywhere there is high air pollution.
Two-stage filtering, thanks to the use of two pleated filters, including the F9 fine filter, guarantees up to 83% retention of the smallest smog particles PM1, i.e. whose size is less than 1 micrometer. These particles are the most dangerous for our body, because they enter the lungs directly into the bloodstream and spread to the internal organs. Most "anti-smog" filters on the market only protect us from larger PM10 and PM2.5 particles.
F9 anti-smog filters are recommended to be used only in the winter season, when air pollution is high. On the other hand, F7 anti-dust filters, in the spring during the flowering of allergenic plants, F9 and F7 filters must be changed at least once a season, and the M5 filter every 6-8 months. Dirty filters increase air resistance.
Only tested and correctly selected filters can guarantee the highest quality of supply air in your home. ReQnet filter boxes and recuperators use only the best quality cartridge filters with a very large filtering surface. They provide low airflow resistance and high dust capacity, which in turn increases their service life.
New!
F7 anti-pollen filters are also available for iZZi SF filter boxes - they are used in periods of increased allergen activity (spring and summer) - ideal for allergy sufferers. It replaces the winter installed F9 filter. The F7 pollen filter is installed in the box together with the M5 prefilter.
Compared to the previous version of the SF 200 filter box, the SF 200 NEW anti-smog filter box has an additional preheater pocket built into it, designed for iZZi series recuperators.
Option to supplement with an electric preheater (intended for iZZi series recuperators), which includes cable installation and connection.
The boxes can work with most heat recovery equipment available on the market.*
* It is very important to take into account the additional air resistance (see table below) caused by the filter box and the filters installed in it. If the recuperator does not have automatic air flow control, the air supply must be manually adjusted relative to the exhaust air flow in the ventilation system.
ATTENTION! Installation of a filter box In systems equipped with devices for control with pressure sensors and not equipped with additional filters installed at the factory, messages about exceeded resistance values may appear. In such a situation, the ventilation efficiency should be reduced.
Dust filtering efficiency of different diameters:
PM10 (10 μm) | 96% |
PM2,5 (2,5 μm) | 90% |
PM1 (1 μm) | 83% |
It is recommended to use F9 anti-smog filters only in the winter season, when there is high air pollution, and F7 anti-pollen filters during the flowering period of allergenic plants. The F9 and F7 filters should be changed at least once a season, and the M5 filter every 3-6 months. Dirty filters create additional air resistance.
